The Huskies held off the Spartans comeback attempts to hold them off 38-14.
It was a much closer game than that as Uconn was up 14-0 w/ 3 minutes left in the half.
MSU hit the Huskies D w/ an onslaught of JJs and CCs resulting in a catch in the endzone w/ no time left in the half to make it 14-07 and MSU getting the ball 2nd half.
MSU marched the field and tied it 14-14 to open the 2nd half w/ more deep passes from their QB Bernard Bell to stud Senior WR Charlie Gantt.
The Huskies contained the Spartans offense after that score and didn't allow another point for the rest of the game.
All American QB Rob Reale was 6/9 passing for 125 yards and 4TDs. He hit his favorite target All American WR Sterling Rice 3x for 112 yards and 2TDS.
The surprise of the Huskies offense was from Junior RB Jon Bobbit as he had 8 carries for 140 yards and 1TD.
JR DB Jasper Hooward showed that last week's 2 interception performance vs The Georgia Bulldogs wasn't a fluke as he nabbed 1 more pick this week to tie him for the league lead w/ 3.

The #3 ranked Huskies are now 4-0 on the season and next up have a road game vs The Saint Thomas Tommies before they start their grueling 5 ECC Conference games to end the season.

GG jshaw, GL rest of your season.
