SF 28
KC 07

http://www.tecmo.us/ntl/box.php?team=K. ... &playoff=0

SF got out to an early lead & didn't look back. KC was intercepted on their first offensive play of the game & fumbled for their 2nd turnover of the 1st quarter on the kickoff return shortly after the interception turnover for shit luck to start the game & what proved to be too hard to mount a comeback from.

For SF RB Ricky Williams ran for 140 yards & caught a few passes out of the backfield.
Carson Palmer went into bad condition to start the 2nd quarter & was plain out awful so when his backup David Carr went into good condition he came in for Palmer & was very impressive w/ 1TD pass & completing 80% of his passes. Going to be a gametime decision next week if Palmer or Carr will be the starting QB.

SF's defense had 2 interceptions & 1 sack- Terrell Thomas had a nasty sliding pick that he got up from & popcorned a couple of KC drones before he picked up 18 yards & put he nail in the coffin for KC's comeback attempt in the 4th quarter.

KC's stud DB "DBChiefs" (not sure who his real life counterpart is?) had a sack & an interception via Carson Palmer's overthrown pass & defensively as a unit played well holding SF to gains of 2 to 4 yards on most plays- it was just the few big plays that hurt them.

GG Madcap, GL rest of the season.

The 49ers are now 1-0 on the season.
