Packers @ Raiders

TECMOPACKERS - 19
TECMORAIDERS - 14

The CTL Season kicked off with a rematch of NFL superbowl 2. The Raiders started with the ball and took and early lead after a few Julius Jones runs set up a quick Bledsoe strike to Rod Smith for the TD. The Raiders would get the ball back with a solid defensive stop. The Raiders would not capitalize on getting the ball back though, and after being forced deep into their zone it was a called play. Bledsoe couldn't escape the rush, safety its 7-2 and Packer ball. The packers wasted little time going for the bomb on deep, but Sam Madison stepped in front of the pass for the int. The Raiders would move the ball for a little while, but the drive would stall on a 4th a short. 3 receivers open, pressure coming Bledsoe chooses the TE by the user DB, INT! This time when the Packers go back to the air they are not stopped by Madison, but better for them its caught by Galloway TD, 9-7. This time the Raiders get into Packer territory, but barely. Couple run stuffs, called play the Raiders have to punt. And they are punished by Galloway deep again rather quickly, and its not looking good 16-7 going into half time and kicking.

The 2nd half started with a long time consuming drive for the Packers. But Demarcus Ware and the Raiders D was stingy the whole way down the field and eventually help tight for the FG to make it 19-7. The Packers offense went down the field a little. But now it was 4th and short again! Raiders are going for it, cant run for the 1st Bledsoe's too slow, but theres a receiver up top open short, he can easily run the 4-5 yards for the 1st...the throw.....dropped, Packer ball. Not to be discouraged Demarcus Ware helped get the ball back by forcing the punt from inside Packer territory. The Raiders would drive down, and after the Packers held strong all the way to their goaline, FB Wrightster would catch the short pass for the TD 14-19 with 3mins to go. Trusting in the D the Raiders would choose to kick and use their time outs. That plan backfired quickly as the Packers move 50 yards or so down the field in 6-7 plays to end the game. There was a FG attempt late, and I believe an accidental kick on it, could have blocked that for a really "bad beat story." :)

TECMORAIDERS : Highlights would be D-ware leading the D-fense with 8 tackles and 4 sacks. He is half way to the alltime franchise leader in sacks already at 4. Yeah thats not a typo, the 4-5 something CTL years of Raider franchises has a career sack leader of 8! Ware had more than that last season at 14 :)

GG 8-bit, GLTRW!
NTA: New England Patriots Season V: "He went to Rison" (credit to Mort for that pun)
TSB4g: San Francisco 49ers (S1: MVPs Kaep/Willis :) ).

they seem to only be in use 1997, 99 2004 and 2005. So its prolly accurate.

The uploaded game is not showing under our schedules though....so it might not be working 100% right now.
