ND goes into BC looking for revenge from last seasons loss.
Tight game as we total only 3 possesions for 1st half and kaberger holds a 10-7 halftime lead.
The Irish open up 3rd with a long run by Schwapp and punch it in to take a lead they never relinquished.
Irish hold BC to zero 2nd half points and punch in 2 more for a 28-10 win as the score does not indicate how close this game was.
Qb Brooks has monster game and gets game ball. 8-9 4tds and 75 more yrds on the ground. 4tds is a team record but more importantly a road win and a nice 1-0 start for the 1st time ever in league history.
GG Kaberger gl rest of the season.

Nice job knocking off a bowl winner from last season. I'm not surprised though as Notre Dame has improved throughout the seasons both as an owner and its personnel.

Yeah, this was a key game in the TCS, week one. I'm guessing this is going to really help N.D's bowl bid.

Is that sarcasm?

Obviously the last five weeks are the most crucial. However, I look ahead to N.D.'s non-conference schedule (MSU, BUF, EIU, BSU) and it's very possible he can go 4-1 before conference play. While one win won't seemingly make the difference in the beginning, going into conference play 4-1 instead of 3-2 does help and will probably help N.D. based on prior conference history.

A win is a win and with a 10 game season every week is crucial. This is my best team I've had and am still learning how to win the big games.
Being only week 1 its nice to come out of the blocks with a w and have a positive ranking as to last season as all I could beat were 0 and 1 win teams.
Huge yes as I didn't realize BC was in a bowl last season. Probably did but didn't realize til now.
