PTL Monitor: PTL Bowl (St. Valentine's Day Special Edition)

*Cue the NFL on NBC circa 1996 Music* ... PL&index=7
Well, back in early September over Labor Day Weekend, who could imagine we'd still be rolling strong with Saint Valentine's Day fast approaching.
Two teams remain, one will leave as champion, the other with a broken heart. Who will Cupid's Arrow Strike?

How They Got Here
#2 AFC West Champion San Diego Chargers (13-5)
-Defeated the New England Patriots 31-21 in the AFC Championship Game.
-Defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 24-21 in the Divisional Round.

#3 Minnesota Vikings (13-6)
-Defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 25-10 in the NFC Championship Game.
-Defeated the Green Bay Packers 24-14 in the Divisional Round.
-Defeated the Arizona Cardinals 35-14 in the Wild Card Round.

Recent Championship Game
Opus won 26-7 and in the process ended Lefty's TCS career.

Will Opus remain hot against Lefty, or will Lefty dig down deep and get one more championship?

"Revenge is a dish best served cold".
-Old Klingon Proverb

Nothing to scientific here, the money in Vegas has got be on Opus. He seems to have Lefty's number as of late, and it just seems like he wants it more as Lefty is beginning to fade out of the Tecmo scene.
Still though, it's hard to count out someone like Lefty who has arguably been the most successful internet player over the last two years.

I refuse to predict a winner as it is too close to call. Though I will predict this...

An Opus victory will show "the hands that build PTL" in both her shame and glory. ... re=related

While a repeat championship from Lefty will finally grant him that goal and resolution that he has long searched for.

Make the call for yourselves. Opus vs Lefty. "Gangs of New York" vs "The Searchers". Both are legends, but only one will lead the way into PTL Twenty-Ten.

I'm split 50/50 on this one. Two great owners, two pretty good teams. I leaned towards Opus just because I had to pick someone. Should be a great game.

Jimmy thanks for doing the monitors for the whole season. You did a great job

The rom is out Opus and Lefty, good luck
