SOPA & PIPA discussion

Postby TDO » Wed Jan 18, 2012 2:49 am

Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect IP Act are drawing supporters on both sides. Some are saying it would/could infringe on internet freedoms while others are saying it was stop the loss of millions/billions by sites that rip from companies where the rules are more lax than in the US and then distribute through the internet. Online gamers seem to be in opposition of these new acts. What are your thoughts?

The idea "seems" to make sense, but the lack of technical knowledge by the lawmakers is fairly obvious with these proposed bills...

I am of the opinion that information should not be restricted in any way shape or form.
